SD RETAIL CONSULTING MOURNS LOSS OF CHAIRMAN, MARVIN TRAUB
July 11, 2012- Chicago, Illinois: “We are deeply saddened by the passing of our Chairman, leader, mentor and friend, Marvin Traub, who died early this afternoon at the age of 87,” said Greg Rubin, CEO and President of SD Retail Consulting (a unit of Hilco).
Mr. Rubin added, “Marvin’s leadership and marketing brilliance was unsurpassed in the retail industry and he will be greatly missed by all of his colleagues and friends here at SD Retail Consulting. Second only to his wife Lee and his family, Marvin’s greatest love was his work and retailing in general. We at SD Retail Consulting join all who were touched Marvin’s extraordinary presence in extending our condolences to the Traub family.
