Greg Rubin has produced results and demonstrated expertise in hundreds of projects in the U.S., Europe and around the world. A few examples include:
- Leading a team in the development of one of the first automated staff scheduling programs implemented in retailing. Since that time he has been involved in enhancing the sophistication of budgeting, forecasting, scheduling and reporting models to enhance the effectiveness of people and service to customers.
- For the 2nd largest (nearly 1,000 shops) photo studio in the U.S., Greg led a team that changed the way the business was positioned and how the shops operated. This led to an increase in revenue of between 15% and 20%.
- Completing research and initial implementation for the successful "Performing Coaching Process" which is now a key component of all improvement programs. These programs have been implemented in dozens of major retailers and other companies. The engineering and quality departments of a major international holding concern, and the MIS departments of the largest department store chain in America provided a practical framework for "measuring the immeasurable". As a result of this pioneering work, significant payroll gains are achieved. Additionally, these functions operate in a more cohesive manner supporting the overall corporate mission and strategic initiatives.
- When two multi-billion dollar U.S. retail organizations merged, Greg engineered the consolidations of the cultures, process and structures. This resulted in a smooth assimilation of business and produced a large reduction in operating expenses dues to the economies of scale that were achieved.
- For one of the largest U.S. specialty retail companies, assisted with their Global Expansion Strategy and personally coordinating their entry into the U.K. and subsequent movement to the continent.
